Our base is Taekwondo, but it has evolved into a mixed martial arts blend that encompasses Phillipino stick and knife, Jujitsu, grappling, kickboxing, weapons, grappling and No Holds Barred (NHB).

Adult Programs

Get in the best shape of your life by working out with a purpose. Learn how to be in control of your mind, body, and emotions with intent, direction, and self-defense awareness. Learn highly effective and powerful self-defense skills that will help protect yourself, your family, and your friends. All this in a fun, friendly environment that will also improve your flexibility, endurance, and physical vigor.

Our program is a total fitness package combining strength, endurance, and flexibility. We incorporate the latest exercise physiology, which assists in the development of all your muscular systems, building greater strength and definition. We give you excellent cardiovascular conditioning, expanding your heart and lung’s capacity while you burn off calories. The result is a tremendous increase in energy, giving you what you need to last all day long. Each class also includes a variety of stretching exercises that help you avoid injuries and keep you feeling your best.

Cardio Kick-boxing

Our most popular class at UMA.This 45-minute, hard-pounding, fast-paced class will work every area of your body. You will leave knowing you have worked out today! The high-energy keeps you working hard, yelling and burning calories. The class begins with a cardio warm-up that includes everything from burpees to weights and followed by partner pad drills that teach pad combintion drills. Before you begin step on our scales that tell you not only your weight, but your metabolic age, body mass, and water levels. Many kickboxers have reported drastic improvements in their metabolic age as well as tranformed bodies and weight loss.

Classes are combined of all ages with the exception of Lil' Dragons which is designed for children 4-6 years of age. Classes are designed to teach the requirements for each belt level regardless of age.
